Leslie English began her career with Dale Carnegie® Training in 2000, as a worldwide award-winning Training Consultant from a long-standing career in Physical Therapy.  Transitioning into leadership within the Syracuse Dale Carnegie franchise in 2008, Leslie began her role as Managing Partner thus leading to President and purchase of extensive Franchise in 2013. Leslie is the sole owner and operator of L.J. English & Associates, Inc., dba Dale Carnegie® of CNY.  

 

Dale Carnegie® Training has franchises worldwide and is recognized as the world leader in developing leaders and successful business strategies for organizations of every size.  Dale Carnegie® of CNY is very successful in delivering Dale Carnegie® Training and Corporate Solutions to over 2500 businesses and individuals throughout 22 counties in CNY.   Local clients include:  SRC Inc, O’Brien and Gere Engineering, Indium, Mohawk Global Logistics, United Radio, Wegmans, Whitman School of Management, etc. 


Priding themselves on delivering value and results in more than 20 public classes and multiple corporate projects per year, as President, Leslie leads and managers her team in areas of Operations, Customer Service, Marketing, Sales, Instructor Development and Curriculum Delivery/Customization and Strategy.  Since 2008, the CNY Franchise has enjoyed consistent, double-digit yearly growth and has been awarded Dale Carnegie® Training’s Growth Club Award of more than 20% + for the past three years.

She has been honored to receive The Women Who Mean Business Award, The Successful Business Women Award, Dale Carnegie® Global Franchise Growth Awards, Mohawk Valley Business of the Year Award.

Diana Wolgemuth, Director of Professional Development

Diana serves as the Director of Professional Development for Dale Carnegie Training of CNY.  She joined the company in February 2009.  Diana has received several awards with Dale Carnegie and was a Silver Award Recipient for four consecutive years (2009 – 2013) and again in 2015 and 2016. This award is given for Top Sales Growth and consistent independent production of over $300,000.00.  Diana was recognized at the 2016 CNY Sales and Marketing Executives Crystal Ball Awards Ceremony and received a Sales & Marketing Excellence Award for her contributions to the growth of the Dale Carnegie of CNY franchise.  


Prior to joining Dale Carnegie, Diana was employed as the Learning and Development Manager at Hand Held Products (now known as Honeywell) for seven years.  Prior to that, she worked at Welch Allyn for 13 years in sales, international sales, customer service and medical contracts. 

 

Diana has delivered programs for numerous local organizations throughout Central New York.  She is Past President of the Board of Directors for the CNY Chapter of American Society of Training and Development.  She currently serves as the Executive Chair for the Board of Directors at CNY Works and is a member of CNY SHRM, as well as CNY Sales & Marketing Executives. 

 

Diana makes her home in Baldwinsville, NY with her husband Mark.  Her 26-year old twins, Amanda & Zachary recently graduated and are now pursuing their professional careers.

Sheila Dion, Sales and Marketing Coordinator

Sheila started working for Dale Carnegie® of CNY in 2017. She assists Diana with class launches and graduations and maintains the website and social media platforms.  Prior marketing experience included working at UNO running their fundraising program at Destiny USA. Her involvement with non-profits created a passion for helping those in need and inspired her to start a charity in her home town called Erin's Angels. She is an avid volunteer in her community, serving on various boards. She lives in Phoenix with her husband and three sons.
